Notes:

*1—Initial Strategy Fee—This is a one-time, non-refundable fee for setting up, implementing, and maintaining an agreed-upon plan. It includes business formation assistance, tax research, and review of legal documents.

*2—Federal/State Returns—Preparation of annual return(s) will be completed at an agreed-upon time during the yearly engagement, as long as the client is current and on a monthly plan. Any incomplete services, including unfinished tax preparation, will be immediately terminated if a monthly plan is canceled. Recurring procrastinators will be assessed late fees and potential termination of our agreement. We try to turn around tasks within two weeks and ask that you turn in the necessary information by our requested dates (DARB – Deadline Action Required By).

*3—IRS Notice Response—If you receive a letter resulting from a return we’ve filed on your behalf, once you become a Nouvo Elite or Premier Client, we will respond free of charge.

*4— IRS Representation/Audit Protection (Nouvo Elite or premier) is covered under three years per the IRS’s statute of limitations. Nouvo Elite plans include representation before the Internal Revenue Service (resulting from the examination of returns we’ve filed on your behalf). A tax return is included in the Nouvo Elite or Premier package: a) once the client has paid a one-year term of their monthly maintenance fees, based on their sign-up anniversary (Ex, Aug ’20 to July ’21 paid for the return year referenced in the engagement letter) and b) they remain a current client.
